Opera Favourites (Spring 2016)
The Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra, Nova Scotia’s finest symphony of young people, conducted by Dinuk Wijeratne, performed the Best of Opera, joined by The King’s Chorus and soloists, Sarah Myatt, mezzo soprano and Patrick Simms, tenor. Music included Bizet’s ‘Carmen’, Verdi’s ‘La Traviata’, Mozart’s ‘Marriage of Figaro’. Spring 2016

Music for Saint Cecilia (Fall 2016)
King’s Chorus, Ensemble Regale, and soprano Janelle Lucyk were featured in Mozart’s Vesperae Solennes de Confessore, Handel’s Laudate Pueri & Zadok the Priest, Sunday, November 20th, 2016 at 4:00pm in the Cathedral Church of All Saints.

G.F. Handel’s Dettingen Te Deum & Morten Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna (Fall 2014)
Our fifth anniversary concert in November, 2014. With Andrew Pickett (countertenor) and Shaylan Burkhart (bass) and the musicians of Ensemble Regale.

Paul Halley’s Love Songs for Springtime (Spring 2013)
The work of Halifax’s own Paul Halley, Love Songs for Springtime is a delightfully playful setting of anonymous love poetry. With the Maritime Brass Quintet.

Benjamin Britten’s Saint Nicolas (Fall 2013)
We celebrated the centenary of Benjamin Britten’s birth by singing his idiosyncratic cantata Saint Nicolas, and on Saint Nicolas’ Day itself. With the Capella Regalis Men and Boys Choir. Presented by Musique Royale.

Paul Winter’s Missa Gaia (Earth Mass – Spring 2012)
A contemporary Mass in celebration of the earth, this unique composition features animal noises (whales, wolves, etc.) as part of the written score. With renowned gospel singer, Theresa Thomason. Check out this video made in promotion of the concert.
